SITE Intelligence Group, who monitors terrorist and extremist websites and penetrates password-protected Al Qaeda linked sites uncovered some very interesting information on Monday. Apparently, Al Qaeda would prefer John McCain, and they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way of making that happen.
Al Qaeda feels that McCain would continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, which is beneficial to their cause. The terrorists had this to say:
“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier … Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.”
The terrorist continued,
“If al-Qaida carries out a big operation against American interests, this act will be support of McCain because it will push the Americans deliberately to vote for McCain so that he takes revenge for them against al-Qaida. Al-Qaida then will succeed in exhausting America till its last year in it.”
I hate fear mongering, and I don’t want to say that voting for John McCain is going to continue the cause of terrorism. But it certainly seems like a foregone conclusion.
