Update: Sanjay Gupta admits that he made errors. But an internal e-mail exchange at CNN shows that Gupta had the correct facts before he did the piece. So, why do you suppose he went with the wrong numbers?
In case you missed the Michael Moore interview on CNN, I’ve posted it here. Prior to the interview, CNN ran a piece by Sanjay Gupta where Gupta basically tries to mitigate the impact of the movie by intentionally confusing the facts. Moore, pissed off by Gupta’s mangling of reality, manages to render Wolf Blitzer speechless as he blasts his way through the interview:
In the interview, Moore vowed to post the facts about his movie — and he did. So, let’s see if CNN straightens the whole story out on their end. Don’t hold your breath.
